2026 ROI IRISH MOILED CATTLE SOCIETY CENENTARY NATIONAL AT TULLAMORE

I was absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to judge the Centenary ROI Irish Moiled Cattle Society National Show at Tullamore Show.It was a fantastic day for the Irish Moiled breed, with a brilliant display of quality cattle put forward the classes. I was very impressed with the standard of cattle put forward and it was a real privilege to have the opportunity to judge such an important show in the breed’s Centenary year

A special congratulations to Aine Hyland on a fantastic day with Lisnolan Blaithin, who stood 🥇 1st in the 2026-born calf class before going on to be crowned ROI National Irish Moiled Champion 2026. 🏆 Blaithin is a cracking young heifer, with plenty of length and depth, great movement and plenty of breed character. From the moment she walked into the ring, she had great presence and really caught my eye. There wasn’t much between Blaithin and Alan Mooney’s maiden heifer, Ravelglen Dolly 853, who went on to take Reserve Champion. Dolly is full of breed character, has beautiful width and is a great example of what an Irish Moiled female should be. Both females were excellent representatives of the breed.
