COMPETITION CLASSES

Class 1 : Age 8 and under

Class 2 : Age 8-15 years

Class 3 : Age 16 – 26 years

Class 4 : Additional needs class – Open to anyone under the age of 26 years

Class 5 : Novelty/Fancy Dress  (period style of 100 years ago) Open to anyone under 26 years

Please upload a side photo of young handler with animal and a short video of approximately 60 seconds of young handler walking their animal in a circle like in the show ring, stand the animal up,(this video should demonstrate handling, presentation and movement) young handler to say their name and age, then say the name of animal and why they enjoy showing Irish Moileds. Encouragement given for young handlers to take opportunities at agricultural shows this season to record their footage. Animals, attire, facilities already there.

It is preferred but not essential that young handlers wear a white coat, shirt, tie, trousers and suitable footwear. It is preferred but not essential that young handlers use a show stick.

Open to young handlers from ROI, GB, NI or further afield.

Closing date 10th August with Results being announced on Show day 15th August. Winners will be announced on the Irish Moiled Cattle Society Facebook page. No late entries will be accepted.
